The Pokémon Games. Did You Enjoy Them?

Is there anyone who actually dislikes the original Pokemon games? If so, why is that?

Personally, Red, Blue, Yellow, I adored. I lived Pokémon. Silver and Gold were awesome, but upon completing the story, I couldn't be arsed to 'catch em all'.

I missed Ruby and Sapphire initially. On a recent play through.. they are uninspiring and boring.

Really enjoyed Pearl. They could have used the touch screen to a much better effect though.

The series needs a reboot. The storyline is tired.

I would love, 100% cream over, a remake (I know..) of Red and Blue. But. HD. Photorealistic. 3D adventuring. Will not happen, but I can dream.

I played blue and I liked it, but never caught'em all!

I think I managed to get everything apart from Mew and Dragonite. Maybe a couple of other annoying ones. I was pretty close, but there was little incentive to get all of them!

I kinda miss the 'Gotta Catch em All' slogan for the game. Now, there is so many, it is impractical. Oh, and another thing- new Pokemon Games, with new Pokemon.. STILL we get Geodudes and Zubats and Magikarps. Seriously. I completed Pearl's story, and yet there are still some new Pokemon in that game that I never even encountered!

Yeah, I want a t-shirt "When I was your age, there were only 151 Pokémon!"

I loved red, blue and yellow or, in other words: When there were only 151 Pokemon. Played blue to death (chosed Schiggy, or Squirtle in English) and was very proud of my high-level Glurak (Charizard in English) that I traded for an Entoron (Golduck).
Anyway, the love vanished quite quickly when the number of pokemon became confusing. I still remember the days when I knew the order of every Pokemon with their names and numbers... heheh.

And I've never watched even ONE episode of the TV anime, I hate it to this day! But the games were great.

Love 'em. I've only played the traditional Pokémon games. Never got into the spin-offs and what not.

I'm going to be heading to my local Gamestop on Sunday to pick up Gold and maybe Silver. :)

I love pokemon games. I've never had the chance to play Pearl and diamond though.

    They didn't seem terribly interesting.

I liked Ruby. And I really want to get Soul silver

I have no idea why I liked them when I was younger, it was just the thing to have. I like it now for the memories. I really wanna buy a DSi just for the GS remakes!

    LOVED them! ^^
Don't know the DS ones, though.

They are very cool with Pokémon Stadium. =))

I love pokemon, but the grinding for levels is just a killer of time and I don't have time for them anymore... probably just gameshark it...

The first Two were genuinely good games.

Yeah, but then they really milked that cow.

Even worse with all the merchandise, the trading card game being among the worst. Pulling the big money out of the little pockets of innocent kids.

Yeah, before the game cube/gba I agree with you. Trading Card is the weakest, but I like it too.

Other nice game for me is Pokémon Puzzle League. It's a good challenge.
One may say that it doesn't really "need" to be a Pokémon game, of course, but it's cool. =)
