I just photographed my Atari ST gamecollection and did a little webpage for them http://arcade.ym2149.com/misc/ataristgames/index.html
Just realised i never posted all the original gamebox artwork i have in this thread.. (only in the "rarest thing you own" thread) ... so here they are:
Lovely indeed! I'm truly not a big fan of vintage western game artworks and PC games, not at all tbh, but this stuff has atmosphere. Very cool
I bought all original artwork from the artists who made them... wich is Bob Wakelin, David Rowe and Celal Kandemiroglu.
as far as the old pc games go, try findign a program called "cpu killer" it sounds bad i know but all it does is load your cpu so you can have it run like an old 800mhz for example, ive used it on some old pc games but problem is i dontknow if it will work on modern multi core stuff and im not sure if it really does load it but it does make it run slower
Just bought an Atari STE (it's the 20 year anniversary of it this year). Too bad almost no games used it's enhanced specs, but there some cool demos to watch:nod:
That looks awesome. I myself have several Atari systems including a 2600, a 5200, a 400, and a 600 XL. Not atari, but I also have a Coleco Adam. The only problem with older hardware and software like this is you typically can't just find it by walking into your local rummage shops, anymore you can only get them online or get very lucky at a yard sale. Very nice collection though!
Firstly - let me just say you take GREAT Photographs. Secondly - i get excited seeing a Supergun collection. would love to have this kind of thing. what games do you have - do you have a list? I like all the stuff in bubble wrap you know that means its important lol
Someone's got an F<2) lens! I passed up a full Atari PC (couldn't tell you any more about it) when I was young. Saw it at an estate sale for something ridiculous like $30. Someone make a time machine so I can go nab all the stuff I should have bought back in the day! I guess I was still in the OMG GRAPHIXXXX mindset back then, since the 64 had just come out and that was spectacular to me. (*thinks of the few Commodores, one Amiga, two Master Systems, and Jag+CD I passed up for dirt cheap because I thought they were 'old'*) :'(!
Shaolin242: i have some of my arcade PCB's listed here: http://arcade.ym2149.com/index.html Alecjahn: correct.. it's a 1.4 (50mm) lens
