I was never fortunate enough to have Sega Channel, but a buddy of mine did and I envied him to death for it. Now if someone could just get their hands on the cable company's end of the equippment setup... that would be quite the collectible piece of equippment.

Wow, 3000 yen total for the Sega Channel in box plus your gas money. Not a bad price at all I must say, although being fairly poor right now, I can't justify spending money on something that is pretty much a useless periphreal. I've gotta choose my spending wisely which usually means either more SMS games or beer (or both if I get a good deal!)
i had one as well the only probs i had with it was that i had to reset evrytime to play another game and it took forever to load but other than that most of my time was spent with that thing
