While exploring the http://largedownloads.ea.com/ and its ftp, I found the installer of TSO version 1.30 from 2004 : I clicked it just for the giggles and to my surprise it started to download the whole game/client. v.1.1097.1.0 Too bad it is already the "new" version, from 2005-01-31. Its 1.56GB installed and can be started. I could create an ea online account, but ofc I dont have the 16 digit registration code, as I dont own a box. So I stopped there and started exploring the folders. Im aware its offline, that there was a restoration project and that it got revived and called "EA-Land" and that there is FREESO and an TSO Emulator...way too much input. ^^ My questions would be : a.) Which would be the oldest known official client version and does someone have it ? b.) Is there a beta client on someones HDD that he might want to share ?

Okay, I managed to get some TSO discs. One beeing "disc 2" of the beta test. It has hundreds of scripts, sound files and old DeluxePaint graphics. Too much too explore and share as words. It says version 1.3.2.86 though on the playdisc... which should be the beta test...@_@ and it says Version 1.0 on the official discs ("charter edition") The beta downlaod back in 2002 was : SimsOnline1.3.2.114.ZIP Hmmmm...strange.... It has 1 patcher exe : p.s. Added some random stuff, so you can enjoy the waybackmachine : [Transmitters] PatchZero=http://downloads.beta.tso.ea.com/BETA/games/PSW/TSO/Maxis-Patch-TestCenter [URLS] CreateAccount=https://www.ea.com/SubscribeEntry.jsp?prodID=REG-TSO-BETA Help=http://player.thesimsonline.ea.com/help/help_index.jsp ManageAccount=https://jump-subs.ea.com/SubscribeEntry.jsp?prodID=REG-TSO-BETA&sLang=en&iPath=3
