I wouldn't say it's a toy, per se. V-drums are nice, but as far as I can tell they aren't velocity-sensitive and don't have the amount of hit spots the Mandala does. The reason I want a Mandala is so that I can use it as a snare replacement. I need something velocity sensitive so I can do ghost notes and such. They're doing one final production run of the Mandalas with MIDI-out, but they're about $1,000 apiece. Maybe someone will pick up the slack and put out something to compete with their current product.
Thatd be kickass. I think they do? Not 100% sure but I'm guessing they do, if you mean Roland. There really badass.
Even if they are, they still don't have as many triggers (128 on the Mandala). I'd also like a semi-permanent residence... I'm leaving this apartment in a few months (mid-May at the earliest). I'm moving anyway, but one of my friends is looking into getting another apartment or maybe even a house, which would be pretty fucking sweet. House + electronic drumset + two metalheads = awesome Edit: video of the Mandala: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tt87SjSHIv0 ughhh fuckkkk I want one so bad
If I could afford it I would have so many different cars for some many different reasons. De Tomaso Pantera 1971 Fastback Mustang Alfa Romero Brera Lamborghini Countach 5000 Maserati Ghibli Cup VW Corrado G60 I could name more but I won't bore you all. If I won the Lottery though I would have to get a Veyron, they just look unbelievable. For now I will have to stick with the A3. Other things I would like are - A garage at my house as idiot kids think its funny to let my tyres down but unfortunately there is no room (damn victorians). A new TV for the bedroom. Something big enough to mount on the opposite wall and be able to still see. Have a whirl at the WSOP one year. Have a full collection of gamecube consoles, all colours variations and ltd editions.
I'd love to own a 1983 Honda CRX in it's original condition. Or maybe even just simply a 1987 Honda ciVic with 1987 Honda Integra front-end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPB0ocAo2BM&feature=channel ....from 0.35 secs. onwards ! ray:
To replace my stolen buggy. Its a KR3 from Blitzworld can have any engine you want in it. It will also be the reason im selling off some of my collection. Damm Alloys anit cheap!
Assuming you've played it, how does it differ from TX-1? I'll have a Porsche 959 and a Bouncer arcade machine please
If only I was a bit younger. I could contract a fatal disease or condition, and somehow bring my condition and desire to the eyes of the the Make A Wish Foundation. As I clutch the CD in my hands, I would mutter "dreams do come tr....bleeeoughhhhrghh" as St.Peter whisked me away. He would say to me "Michael.....you have led a good life....but I have one thing to ask you before we go through the pearly gates. You don't happen to have the Spade key, do you? I forgot my keys on the way to get you and the door is loc..." and I would interrupt him, nod, and would raise up my ethereal key and enter heaven. "You no longer need this item. Discard?" "never...." Rank: A Clear Time: 26 years ...Thak you for playing...
I'd like to own some of the stuff I told my sister to get me from Japan, hope she gets it all in Super Potato or other store in Akihabara tomorrow *crosses fingers*
I'll keep it realistic. I'd like to own my holy grail some day, but it's still pretty impossible to obtain: TAITO DARIUS 3-screen arcade machine, USA version, in good shape. :love2: I'd save 25 cents from my lunch money every day in junior high school, and skateboard a half-hour just to insert one credit into this machine, until I could one-life clear it. This machine is like a lost family member to me
