I'll let the pic speak for itself The more observant among you may notice the lack of a specification label on the top-right of the GDEV - there was a very unsticky one when I picked it up that was peeling away quite significantly, but it blew away as I was standing on a station platform with it Ah well, I know the specs anyway Stone
I lent a dev mate of mine a Jag devkit (he's doing an emulator port, and wanted to noodle around with some real hardware) so he said I could have the GDEV as it was just taking up space. Just before I left I spotted the TEST under his telly, said, 'Oooh, it's a TEST. Swap it for a chipped one?' and he said 'Yeah, ok' without even missing a beat Bonus! Stone
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what are those TEST PS2s for (I do not question your collecting, but its initial purpose)? Thanks.
Liquid, as I understand it they are really only used for playing pre-release copies of games. For instance some companies would get some Beta testers in and have them play the game on a PS2 DVD/CDR using that machine. Also magazine companies have them a lot as well so they can play review roms of the games.
New pic for today's acquisitions: With a bunch of extra/old stuff in the background, including my dirty washing. Ooops :icon_bigg At least with a cart I can test the GDEV now  Stone
TEST PS2 - In a closet??? Don't you play on it??? I do...! Cool collection Stone, although the PS2 look soooo much better standing up! ;-)
They get a bit dusty, as you can see ;-) liquitt: it's much less about the money than being in the right place at the right time. Find a developer to befriend :icon_bigg I really should have a clearout, I have a ton of arcadey stuff I never really play...should probably tidy my desk too! Stone
