I am interested in getting a Mega CD from Ebay, using Borderlinx as a proxy. But while I know the basic weight of the console itself, I do not know how much the power supply weighs. This is all important, so I can figure out how heavy the overall package, and the payment fee for Borderlinx to ship the good to Australia. Can someone please help me with this? The power supply appears to be an original one. So if anyone out there knows the answer, please let me know, so I can account for that in the price.

Is it not the same PSU as the MegaDrive has?

Yes, yes it is. So in asking, what would be the weight for the Mega Drive PSU?

Where is it coming from? You can always make your own power supply from a hefty power supply (i use 9v 4.5amp), fit the plugs required and that way you use only 1 plug.

Surely if you're buying a Mega CD, you have a MegaDrive? So weigh yours ;)

A quick Google search should give you your answer - or just take the total boxed weight of the console (probably online somewhere, too).

You don't even mention which country your source is. Different countries have different voltages, different mains pins and hence different plugs.
