How is Opeth's new album? I was really upset that Martin and Peter left, but I've read that Axenrot (I think that's the new drummer's name) is really good, and I imagine Michael expects a lot from everyone in the band.

Right now I'm listening to the Cure's Greatest Hits. I forgot how much I love the Cure. This album was on constant repeat in my car one summer when I was beating myself up over this girl. Great and terrible memories at the same time.

The Lovecats is probably one of my favorite songs up here.

I haven't heard much of their new CD, but how does it match up with The Sickness? Compared to Believe and 10000 Fists, The Sickness has always been my favorite. It was amazing hearing Stupify for the first time yearssss ago.

Granted, I haven't listened to them much, but out of all the "nu-metal" bands I think Disturbed is actually pretty good. I don't go out of my way to listen to them, but if I hear them on a radio or random CD I'll finish out the song :p

My friends all love Disturbed, I personally can't fucking stand them. However, one of my friends made me listen to Believe all the way through before, and the first song was good. Hated the rest along with that Sickness CD.

Second note, my bud bought one of the signiture Digitech Disturbed pedals. It sucks, at least I think so.

The only "endorsed" equipment that I'll buy are Danny Carey's drumsticks. They are so badass, by the way, but they are *really* heavy. Think twice as thick as 5B sticks.

Amazing sticks. I got a pair that lasted quite a while, but now my brother uses Ahead sticks so he doesn't get wood shavings everywhere.

Oh, I guess on the subject of Danny Carey drumsticks, when my bro and I went to Evansville, IN to see TOOL, we caught one of his drumsticks, and when we flew to LA and met Adam Jones (TOOL guitarist), he signed my pickguard and the drumstick we caught. Furthermore, I was browsing facebook and found someone selling the other drumstick Danny threw out at the concert for $45, so I snatched that and now I have a pair of sticks from one of those shows. Pretty sweet ;)

I need a new drumset before I can use drumsticks.

Local band from Tacoma, WA. They played at my grad party. Awesome stuff. Their new album just released on iTunes. :)
