^I can't stand Mike Portnoy, as he seems really pretentious to me, but Liquid Tension Experiment makes (made) some awesome music.

Right now: My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

This album is probably on my list of top three greatest albums ever, and that's saying something.

 

Nightwish Once (the whole album)

Well, the first three are just awesome, the others need some listening. But the album is just smashing great. And it was the first album, I bought with Nightwish. And I have been hooked on them ever since, and a mate of mine began listening to them (the more softer melodies), and I was very surprised, since he is not normally a man I would call a heavy metal lover. But he thinks they are great. And he is about 50. So I think it is cool that he likes Nightwish.

 

Started listening to the following this morning before i go and find something new to listen to:

Cradle Of Filth - Various songs

Bleeding though - Various Songs

God Forbid - IV: constitution Of Treason

Also listening to many diffrent versions of Dreams Dreams from the Nights into dreams / nights journey of dreams, i really like that song for some reason

 

I have been a Nightwish fan since 2001...my first album was Wishmaster. Its a shame Tarja is no longer in the band - no one will ever compare to her gorgious vocals. I had the priviledge to see them in 2004 and I can say without a doubt it was the greatest show I have ever been to....I am wearing the t-shirt right now lol. It was...almost surreal...smoke/wind blowing in Tarja's face and the audience throwing rose petals in the air. I will never forget it.

 

Yeah, Nightwish was an awesome band until Tarja left. I just can't stand the new singer, she changed the way the band used to sound in a really bad way.
