Watched Transformers 3. While better than the second (which isn't saying much at all), it was still just kind of long and boring. I'll be excited when they reboot it in 5 years or so. haha

Favorite movie right now has to be Hot Tub Time Machine....love raunchy humor and one liners.
Recomended (Esp. if you have netflix): Ongbak 2, Casino, The Horde (french zombie movie, but really good.)

Spent a good part of the day watching 'The Twilight Zone' marathon on tv. I saw a couple classic episodes. It's such good stuff!

I also watched 'Lost in Translation', which is a late night favorite of mine. Whenever I have trouble sleeping I throw that in. However, this time, I just stayed up and watched the whole thing. Now I gotta be at work in a couple hours at 5:30am. Oh, well.

Watched Limitless the other night, that was pretty cool. Also finally caught up with the A-Team movie. Really enjoyed that, can't beat a bit of silly over the top action.

Recently I've been watching copious amounts of The Big Bang Theory and My Name is Earl, two shows I love but haven't seen enough of.

Some stuff I watched recently along with my personal rating:

    Graveyard of Honor (1975) - 4/5
    Ghostbusters 2 - 2/5
    Blow - 5/5
    Wall Street 2 - 3/5

Ghostbusters 2 lacked a lot of spirit and humor, I think it was pretty stupid overall. I'm not the biggest fan of the first movie either, maybe that's a possible explanation.

Wall Street 2 is recommended to all those who liked the 1987 original. I gave it a 3/5 because the story isn't very original and there's just nothing unexpected or fresh about it - and I don't feel the need to watch it again, at least not in the near future. It was a very solid and entertaining movie though, Gordon Gecko is just the man. He's got cojones.

Elephant. Watch a few films that are related to Columbine/School Shootings in general as I'm working on a new machinima project.

I watched all of "better off ted" on netflix over the weekend. Quite enjoyed it and now sad the series is dead. =(

If you like the show, google it on youtube for the vulgar version of the employee cursing episode.

The Adventures of Pete & Pete. Used to sit and watch these with my kids many years ago and just found all 3 seasons in a newsgroup while searching for something else. Yes it's a kids show but man, bits are so fucked up funny I don't mind admitting to watching it even though I'm 42.

Watching Money in the bank again. Watched it live last night while blogging with a few people. I won't ruin the finish but I was so happy with who won and what happened I was literally shaking (I like wrestling ALOT if you didn't know.).

I can't say I was overly impressed with Transformers 3 either.

I've been watching the first season of Dark Angel and random episodes of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.

    Over the past 2-3 days:

    Hollywood Ending (2002)
    Juno (2007)
    The ODESSA File (1974)
    King of Comedy (1983)

    and the really nasty stuff:

    Buio Omega (1979)
Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS (1974)
    Nekromantik 2 (1991)
I Spit On Your Grave (1979)

And as far as TV shows go:
Futurama Season 5 (the films, wasn't too impressed tbh)
Futurama Season 6 as far as they've gotten - brilliant! Not a single bad episode so far, an infinite flow of funny original ideas!

Next in line are plenty more exploitation films as well as more Scorsese. I just got myself the recent Bluray US digipak of Taxi Driver, the picture quality is supposedly ultra-sharp for a flick from the 70's.

You have a good eye for some quality shit  Blue Holocaust is one of D'Amato's best, She Wolf is easily the pick of the 3 official Ilsa films but Tigress comes a very close second. The fourth, Franco's 'Greta: The Mad Butcher' aka 'Wanda: The Wicked Warden' aka 'Ilsa: The Wicked Warden' is piss poor though. As for ISOYG, this film gets so much undeserved bad press it's unreal, if anything all the feminists and apologists that have marginalised and lambasted this movie should have been shouting from the rooftops and praising it instead for the dignity she keeps in the face of such misery and horror. How what is possibly one of the most pro women films of all time gets labelled as ''nasty and misogynistic'' is beyond me.

What did you think of Nekro 2? I found it a bit plodding in places and too arty for its own good at times but the end pay-off is absolutely fucking astounding.

Buio Omega was OK I guess. The story and character evolvement was far better than in any D'Amato movie I've ever seen, but that doesn't have to mean anything. I've seen Absurd and this one was really horrible in terms of quality. Pure sadism without a trace of a story behind all that.
What else from him is recommendable? I was still going to watch the prequel, Man-Eater, but I'd like to avoid his boring erotic works.

In terms of Ilsa, I wasn't really considering to watch the sequels, but maybe I'll give Tigress of Sibiria a chance if you say it's good. The She Wolf was really nasty in all possible ways. Next up in terms of Nazisploitation is Love Camp 7, with the participation of Dave Friedman, so it might be worth the time.

Maybe it's because the rape scenes are so shocking that it's hard to distinguish if the movie wants to arouse or shock the sadistic viewer. To be honest, I thought it was a rather bad movie, even for its standards. Her state of mind remained unclear at all times, it wasn't explained at all why it never occured to her to leave the place or call the police. I mean, she was raped and almost killed by four men who lived nearby and she had access to a phone and a car. What would you do? Stay there for another two weeks and wait for something to happen? That's what she did. A little more explanation would'nt have done any harm, like "the phone's broken and they stole her car"...

Not too bad actually. It was really repulsive sometimes, but I still managed to eat a hotdog during the film when Robert wasn't on the screen :p
It was better than the first one as far as the style and camera works go. The way both films are made is really unique, it's an atmosphere that was hardly ever copied in other films except for some German TV productions of the time. Maybe it's a particularly German low-budget style, I don't know...
Not sure about what you mean with 'too arty', maybe the weird movie they watched in the cinema, hahaha? All those guys in the cinema eating popcorn and drinking beer with a smile on their faces, you could think they were watching Rambo 3 instead of two people sitting naked on a rooftop eating eggs while the guy keeps talking about birds.

I'm not sure what to think about those two films because it's they're really unique. Not really splatter, horror or exploiter, just a regular movie with a very irregular subject. I can clearly understand why it was declared an 'art movie' in Germany and therefore never endangered to be banned, unlike Buio Omega, Mother's Day, Braindead, Absurd, Evil Dead, Cannibal Holocaust and other bad boys.
