this thread is about things you would have like to buy, but to some reason, you didn't.

i didn't buy a lose pce super grafx for only 50 bucks i saw the other day, due to the reason i already bought some other things and the money wasn't sufficient.

    Didn't buy I7 cpu

    reason

I bought a pentium 60 and look how laughable that was.

Never buy first gen chips for a new socket, they are always dogs.

Didn't buy a SNES clone last friday. It looked weird, was working and was cheap, but I came out without my wallet. When I came back it was gone

I also didn't buy a DSi I was gonna get from Japan, I already had the money but conveniently my computer screen died and I had to get a new one...

I've actually had to buy Suikoden 2 twice, since a buddy of mine lost my original copy. The first time was $50, the second time was $20. :110:

A used Laseractive at an "Out of the Closet" thrift store with no box. They wanted $100 USD and I wasn't sure if it worked. Plus it had the common Sega module and not the PC engine. I even had a couple of game disks laying around at home to test it with, but I was more mad that they wouldn't go lower than $100 USD. In retrospect $100 was a little high, but I should have gotten it anyway. I just didn't want to pay $100 USD and then have to get it serviced. I don't see them nearly as much today as I did 5-8 years ago. But this is mostly because ebay has gone downhill big time since then.

I always tend to wait as well for 2nd gen, but Phenom seemed to suck big time when Nehalem came out and I needed a new PC, Phenom II looks much better on the paper but still no match for an i7. I'm very pleased with it.

Saw a Neo Geo AES boxed in korea (possibly a korean model..didn't know they existed at the time) and I let it go even though it was only £80.

I have always always wanted an AES and I deliberated over purchasing it for hours and then decided not to because it was too much money to spend at once.

Stupid thing was I probably spent twice that in stores near the place it was being sold on games two months later and it was still there. At the very end of my time in korea when I had the cash to buy it, it was gone.

Games were cheap too, he had all of the KOF games for around £50 each.

Didin't buy a really really cheap but almost Mint looking fully boxed saturn with saturn analog controller, nights, sega rally and some other games.

The reason was thats the day before a cash machine had eatin my bank card so all i had was the weeks college money i had decided on when i was in the bank sorting out a new card.

Also i didn't buy a lovely boxed 3DO with everything minus games becuase of my paypal having money and my bank account not having enough money i could use for anything other than a bill.

Could have bought a mint Rendering Ranger in Japan for 170 Euro. Thought that was ridiculously expensive, now that people are selling their copies for 350+ Euro I somehow regret it a bit, although I don't collect Super Famicom at all.

Another thing I is that I left out an auction for a complete Flash Saturn collection on Yahoo. Went for like 5000yen... have not seen an entire demo collection for sale since then (starting at 1jpy, not those idiotic 500$ BIN auctions).

I've also not bought a Mint boxed PS1 (the ones before dual analouge/dual shock)which i really wanted becuase i don't have my one anymore but i still have some games and its not the same playing on a PS2.

I thought i'd come back and get it but i ended up forgetting about it untill i got home and it was too far to travel back to get it the same day and i ended up having to lend the money to my mother the the next day and eventually it had gone.

I don't buy most of the shit people tell me.
Reason: I'm too smart for them.

I also didn't buy quite a few auctions recently:
    Reason: got out bid :(
