http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/technology-blog/weird-gun-future-attacks-words-not-people-193050045.html I found this article and just laughed. Anyone else thought about using it on an annoying sibling? Though I wonder how much teachers would love to get their hands on this.
Does it work with those annoying people who park their cars in front of your house and turn up their boom boxes?
As a High School teacher, I approve of this. I have this thug group at 9am that are taking my class again (cos they be gangsta, yo! proper Spanish Grammar ain't no gangsta shit, yo!) - that ignore me or talk all class. Generally, aggressively evil exams work to shut them up on Fridays, but a little bit of pain would be just about right to be satisfying. That, or learning Sith lightning.
Oh jeez, I hope so! Someone walks by and the dogs do not shut up untill 10 minutes after they're gone.
They not thought that people might just put their fingers in their ears and talk? Or a more high tech solution just use noise cancelling headphones? The only thing new with this is that it uses distance detection to offset the delay but you can do the same effect on a PC with an audio delay filter... Ironically Delay Audio Feedback devices are commonly used with people who stammer.
