BioShock Call of Duty 3 Call of Duty 4 PGR 4 Madden '08 Assassin's Creed Command & Conquer 3 Battlestations Midway Mario & Sonic at the Olympics Crackdown GRAW 2 DiRT Half-Life 2 Jericho Elder Scrolls 4
Out of the list there these are the games i think are the best having played them moe than once Call of Duty 3 Call of Duty 4 PGR 4 Command & Conquer 3 Crackdown GRAW 2 DiRT
Bioshock is at the top of your list and in my opinion the best title listed, so start at the top
Only 360 Game I want at the moment is Assassin's creed. Mass Effect does look awesome too. I will get VF 5 eventually and Beautiful Katamari. Down the line Devil May Cry 4.
Good advice! I once had a list like that, but I ended up getting every 360 game I wanted to play, and beat them. Now I'm after a Wii. I think I have 23 or so 360 games.
I haven't played Jericho, but I would disagree on Battlestations Midway. I found the game to be quite enjoyable. Keep this one on your list. -hl718
Well I like the strategy games, ones that aren't too involved. CNC is about as complex as I want it to get and BS:M seems like an easy one to play. Plus I'm pretty much a fan of any Triple Action-type game since...well, Triple Action on Intellivision. I seem to have forgotten GTA IV...hmm... I have the PGR4 demo and driving around in the custom Lambo in the snow at dusk creates a surreal atmosphere. The DiRT demo feels like you're really powering the car through the course. I'll probably get Crackdown and one of the driving games in the end, then maybe follow that up with an Elder Scrolls or Assassin's Creed. That doesn't leave any room for BioShock tho...hmm....
I'm waiting for Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect too. I'd like to get Eternal Sonata, PGR4 and COD4. I have Battlestations Midway but I haven't even tried it yet (too busy with Bioshock, The Orange Box and Virtua Tennis 3). The Jericho demo didn't seem like an awful game to me though.
Are we playing the same game here? Battlestations: Midway may not have been the deepest game out there, but the plot and presentation were good and the controls were very easy to pick up and play. I also found it very easy to swap between different units. Sure, the control scheme tended towards the arcade side, but not everything has to be a simulation. I would argue that if this game were a sim, it wouldn't have been any fun. Sometimes simple is good. -hl718
Truth be told, while A LOT of stellar stuff came out on the 360 this year, I'm incredibly burned out on FPSs. Don't get me wrong, the ones I played, were PHENOMENAL! Halo 3, while short, cut out the filler from the previous entries and was jam packed with awesome. Orange Box was amazing. Bioshock was one of the coolest experiences I've had in a videogame in awhile. But by God I'm going to puke if I play another FPS. Mass Effect is going to be a really good change of pace, but I don't think I'll be buying anymore FPS titles for a long time now.
I just got crack down cheap as hell off ebay, great stuff. I've been hearing the hype about assassins creed, but haven't kept up on it much until now. Apparently it's supposed to be like the matrix now or something, meh. As for the rest on the list, you could just wait for madden, dirt, pgr4 and a few more to plummet in price in a few months. All games in those genres do.
