I'm only what 4 years late to this party?

So Wednesday night I started the first game, had a blast actually enjoyed it more this go around. Then before I knew it I beat it and got started on the sequel. Which reminded me alot of another action game sequel.

Bayonetta 2 borrows or rather outright steals quite a bit from Ninja Gaiden 2 (the modern Gaiden 2 not the NES classic)

Lets see, first stage in a city, Hell inside of mountain, Good chunk of the game IN HELL, Brightly colored totally not supposed to be Venice stage. Large area that's from the last game but in a different context, and both even have a spider boss and I'm sure other bosses that resemble each other. All Bayonetta 2 needed was a 100 angel fight where she fought 100 angels at once.

I did a little digging, it doesn't seem too many people have noticed this.
Not like Bayonetta didn't take a few things from Ninja Gaiden, Those two games take place mostly in a vague drab European city that doesn't exist.

For all the comparisons to Devil May Cry Bayonetta gets it sure does seem to borrow/steal more from Ninja Gaiden than Kamiya's other game.

Am I blowing minds here or did anybody else notice this?

If the Bayonetta= Ninja Gaiden trend is correct can we expect 3 to have a totally nonsensical story require 2 games to get everything right and split it's fanbase in half over how good/not good it is?

Then I guess we should wait for Bayonetta Black Sigma.
