Yes someone FINALLY ported SW to android and you guessed it, it's made by Beloko Games. The port is based of the IOS port but it has one string attached: He wont release it due to using "graphics" from the ios version. Perhaps we'll never see more classic games ported to android...for now. *ahem* Descent II, AvP, Doom 3 multithreaded *ahem* :-(
I love trying to play games on touch screens. Sometimes I play on my real game systems with oven mitts on, so when I try to play *insert ported game here* on my phone I don't have to feel so bad at how much I suck.
When you said SW, I thought you meant Star Wars. Or Southwest. Or any of the other number of things that have the letters S and W in the name.
I messaged him about this for many many tines and he does have interest on this but the problem is that he wont release it not because of a conflicting port, oh no. It's because he used the graphics for the controls from the IOS version. Btw its not really an official port its a source port because he used the source code of the IOS version. Plus GeneralArcade (The IOS version devs) says they're going to release an android version but no ETA which I highly doubt because...
Speaking of star wars, the same dev ported JK,JK2,3 And Jedi academy on android. Just search for it on amazon
And the only bad touch controlled game is Duke3D and possibly gta iii,VC and SA but that's subjective.
Including that YT video might've been a mistake, since it mentions the full name of SW in the title. Not sure if Xenforo includes embedded videos in searches, but if it does someone might actually find this thread despite everyone having paid great attention to always abbreviate SW. And that just won't do.
