This DC game case on ebay is an unnoficial case, yes?

Soliciting opinions. Looks kind of cool, but it's probably just a custom revamping of the artwork slid into a white dvd case. There are a few more for sale by this seller too.

Ok, nevermind. The seller's profile basically mentions he collaborates with some graphic designers to make custom cases for games. Still, kind of a neat look, especially since all next gen items post DC came in DVD style boxes.

Definitely - Dreamcast games didn't come in that style of case.

Even the listing says 'Created from new materials' and 'Premium Paper and Ink Used'.

Cosmic Smash, Eternal Arcadia and Segagaga came in custom style DVD cases that were unique (no chance of swapping them for a better conditioned one). Most late DC releases came in standard DVD amaray cases, mostly adventure stuff but also Karous and Under Defeat.

I thought that Sega Direct game cases were more than just white DVD cases with slip-in covers, but as I've never encountered one up close I'm probably mistaken.
