This is from the long running UK show Countdown I'm pretty sure the show isn't live - it may be recorded fairly recently, even same day - but it isn't live This is fake The closest they've had was something like arse or fart. I have a feeling they may have run with it, although there is an outtake that was shown on a bloopers show. They laughed a lot. I think that one of her laughing was from that clip. After that there's an obvious join. It wouldn't be too hard to edit different letters in, and she must have said each letter thousands of times since 1982 (yes, its still going). Incidentally, this was the first show on Channel 4 when it started broadcasting. And of course the big giveaway - we don't get to hear the guy's 4 letter word. This is a bit of an anoraky site on the show, if you're truly bored. I was looking for the REAL video, to no avail.
C'mon man -- don't rain on the parade. Whether it's fake or not, that's funny as shit! Why couldn't the WHOLE thing been an outtake. FYI -- at the end, he says, "I'll stick with the board".
Yeah, its funny for a fake. The original was funnier though, because it was real. That's just canned sequences to suit.
I don't know. I'm usually the first to tell conspiracy theorists they're full of shit. I would've never thought I'd have seen Alex Trebech (sp?) swearing like a sailor, yet... there he was. Again -- outtakes... not on the show.
Wait, you're saying somebody CG'ed the letters in to spell Cuntflap? Why the hell would anyone do that? Sounds like a real waste of time to me. Although, now that I think about it, that's a very plausable theory.
Are you saying the audience (yes there is one) wouldn't laugh if that came up? Firstly, we don't see her put up C-U-N. This is because in the REAL one, there was F-A-R there. That's why she laughed when there was a T, and said wash your mouth out. And watch around the F, look at how she suddenly jumps. I'd say that's because someone took a video of her from an earlier or later game in the show. She'd got up F-A-R-T-F I think. They then cut in another video, where she put up L-A-P-S. All they superimposed was the C-U-N and stuck two videos together - and of course, the 4 letter thing could be from any time. And he's only laughing cuz he said he'd go with a 4 letter word. I'll try to find the REAL vid. Actually, come to think of it, I think there have been one or two. Its expected in 23 years of a show really, isn't it?
