Those Burger King Xbox games aren't half bad

    Surprising indeed.

I managed to score all three games (Big Bumping, Sneak King, and PocketBike Racers) over the holiday weekend without having to buy the value meal along with them.

They're all rather well done and as long as you keep your expectations in check, quite fun too. Surprisingly enough, each game gives you Achievement points and 2 of the 3 titles even feature Xbox Live multiplayer!

Best one of the bunch? IMO, Sneak King followed by Pocketbike Racers.
I'm a sucker for stealth games, and despite being silly and simplistic, Sneak King gives you 20 task-based missions per level which take place in some decently constructed environments. Pocketbike is a surprisingly well-done kart racer complete with 5 tracks, weapons, and multiple tournaments + classes. Big Bumping is your typical Fuzion Frenzy/Mario Party style game that has some entertaining modes (ice hockey and hot potato are the best) but this title definitely benefits from the Xbox Live component.

$12 for 3 games is a hell of a good deal no matter how you look at it. Each game also comes with a 48 hour Xbox Live trial. If nothing else, you can buy the games and keep the green cases to store as backups in case you ever buy any used games down the line.

Sounds like a great deal. Just a shame we no longer have Burger King in Japan :( Then again even if we did I doubt they'd be doing any XBOX promotions.

I'm sure these games will be plentiful...I mean, there are thousands of BK restaurants across the country and all should be selling them. :)

I might be able to snag a few extra copies, so if anyone is desperate or unable to track these down, just let me know.

Ha! Xbox promotions at Burger King; I'm sure the Japanese would be thrilled.

You never know. They do seem to be enthralled with special edition sets/items.

Here in the UK, believe it or not, I have yet to go to BK's.. I m on a strict diet unfortunately - I m ready to make the exception though, as soon as I have time to hit city center xD

Taucias, Goody's doesnt comper to a whopper. Not that its worse, it might be even better, but its like comparing apples to oranges!

Goodys... I miss it. It was the closed thing to McDonalds in Hania. However, McDonalds in Athens does the Greekmac - if only they sold it in the USA. I think they did for the Olympics?

    I miss Gyros :(

Also: why the strict diet? Too much CS and pizza? :)

People must have skipped over the fact I said my girlfriends mom is visiting. As a result she is cooking dinner & also my lunch every day (she came to spend time with my gf and cook for her since she misses food from china, hense why she is cooking). So my gf says I can't eat out because her mom is cooking for us and wants to save money. Me on the other hand, I miss having a simple delie sandwitch. :(

Once her mom leaves tho, my gf will be tied up at school preparing for finals, So it's up to me to find something to eat.

    --edit--
Btw, Her mom has been with us for well over a month. So it's been a while since i've had certain foods. If it was for me not going to arcadia festival (a video game thing) I would have not had bk for well over 1.5 months.

Heh, Gyros is AWESOME , Kebab in UK doesnt even come close to that :D

Well, strict diet due to modeling. http://www.myspace.com/the_barc0de for the results of having a strict diet and deprivations of sweets , aclohol and the likes (enjoy the video too, i found it hillarious)

Subbie, I think I m in luck. My new flat-mates are a Chinese couple, (About 40) and they cook for me every now and then. Chinese food is amazing if done home-made, I trust you ll enjoy it - hope you like spicy food, i love it ;D

I laughed at the video, but he could have been killed. Phew, shows you that it is essential to wear the seat belt after all. Fun Fairs can be scary places - case in point: I almost blacked out after sitting 3 to a car in a twister once (the type of ride that moves in a circles and spins 3 cars on each arm at the same time). It was designed for 3 but the girl sitting next to me was built like the kid in the video and it crushed my ribs. The woman controlling the ride kept shouting out "do you want to go faster? FASTER?!" and I was crying out NO NO NO! but guess what happened?

I could barely walk after that one. And she was Greek btw :p

snea-king is fun... that king mascot gives me the creaps even in a digital form. it dose fit well with their commercials, cause he always 'surprises' people with sandwiches.

the bike racing is pretty bad, but i like the power up system.

and by far the best is the bumpercar one. great party game, we played some four player at my store, lotta fun.

Why are you all so positive about BK :p ? It might be better in the USA, but over here it's nothing but tasteless rubbish. The games sound like fun though.

BK > McDonalds, but both make terrible burgers. The city centre burger van serves up the best heart stoppers IMO. Shame they don't have them here in the USA (at least where I am staying)

I'm with you. BK is better then McDonalds but i dont eat BK too often (once a month or far less). Regular burger places that can make a nice burger with out ripping you off are the best. Fast food burgers are mid and over priced dried/burnt burgers are the worse. :p

Only burger I miss is In & Out (for anybody here from california).
