http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=350570 I though some here might want to read this rumor post that says THQ is in trouble and might posibly close down. Sad to hear if it's true (they were not great but thats a pretty big company to be going under). Also, *ahem* =) I call dibs on a PSP devkit!
Apparently its not true so I read on this site. THQ have conformed that they are still alive and kicking.
Somehow I don't think so, they've got some pretty hot properties that make them some decent cash (Disney, WWE, Warhammer, etc.)
If they are going out of business its about time! Back in the day... $80 bucks for PitFighter (NEW - SNES) <Friend sobs>... There, there! We can salvage it and trade it in towards SF2!
it should be noted that it was THQ that originally published the PAL version of Conker's Bad Fur Day. I give them a nod for that alone
I'm guessing someone read this: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/01/30/AR2009013002921.html then put 2 and 2 together and made 5. Oh yep, I'm right: http://play.tm/news/23171/thq-is-not-closing-down/
they've done some good games as of late, de-blob, drawn to life, even their mediocre stuff was still half decent....
