I was pretty impressed with that X68000 port and one can think of the X68000 as being no more than 1/2 the performance of the board that ran the arcade game. *Thunder Blade arcade release: 1987 *Sharp X68000 computer system release: 1987 *Thunder Blade X68000 release: 1990 *Commodore Amiga 1000 / 500 release: 1985/1987 Thunder Blade Amiga release: 1988
Don't act so surprised you should know that 99.9% of x68000 arcade conversions where amazingly close to the arcade original. Shits all over anything the amiga or any other home pc had to offer .
I had to quote this for absolute truth -- You said exactly how I feel about X68000 vs Amiga gaming in general. Hell, the original X68000 of '87 has no problem pissing all over the A1200 of '92 with its AGA chipset. What a beast.
