Thunder Force 6 to get released?

Seems to be happening according to shmups.com

According to the link, and what I was able to piece together with online translators, Factory Noise & AG (the people who have been releasing the Thunder Force/Technosoft related soundtracks) have been working on an actual TF6 game on the down low, and are releasing it as "Broken Thunder", which isn't related to "Thunder Future" as far as I can tell. It is currently scheduled for an April release.

The link is advertising a "Broken Thunder Preview Disc" and has screenshots of some new ships: FIRE LEO-05VC "Syrex", RVR-03G1 "Bracer", and a mass production model "Syrex".

Can someone (Yakumo :icon_bigg) confirm the information on the jap webpage?

A release would be awesome been waiting for TF6 since its announcement in 2000 arrgghhh....

BTW for those who like Tecnosoft type of metal music I suggest you listen to DragonForce it's a great metal fast band I recently discovered http://www.myspace.com/dragonforce listen to their latest album that will bring some memories to those who played classic Tecnosoft titles on MD and Saturn.

Wouldn't it be cool if it came out on the Dreamcast like it was originally scheduled to. The site doesn't really tell us anything that the guys at shumps posted. However I saw this disc on yahoo auctions the other day thinking it was just the OST that had been around for quite some time. Now I know what it is I must track down a copy.

They probably aren't. I imagine the guy managed to get his hands on a load for free some how and is now selling them off at 800 yen each.

Well there can be worse names than that. Actually there is a chain of restaurant in the UK called Zizzi which means Penis in French (I'm French). The restaurants are not bad, food is good but is that enough to go to Penis restaurant?

I kinda like the Broken Thunder name I guess they named it like this because TF6 got cancelled, who knows...
