I am in the process of organizing all my PS1 press discs and have a few Tiger Woods titles in here. Which year had the infamous south park video on it? I wonder if the video can be found on the early betas or if it was added last minute.
From what I remember it was at the last minute. I think it was 1999? I dunno how many of them had it since they were recalled. I'm pretty sure my cousin had one of the discs though.
As I remember it the story that was given was that some space on the disc needed to be filled up and someone at EA used an AVI of South Park's The spirit of Christmas. Probably the first thing they found on their computer that fit the needed space but obliviously not the best choice. Anyways someone found it when they put the disc in their PC and EA ended up recalling all the affected discs.
IIRC There was a file on the released retail version that if you loaded it to a pc and changed the extension would play a short south park video. As all South Park videos go it wasn't in line with the E for Everyone rating. Anyone know what the file is names so I can look for it on the beta.
