Does anyone know if this will play on the PS3, and does it support the Guncon3? Specifically the 80GB version of the PS3.
all Ps3 can run ps1 software (it's all emulation now). Guncom probably won't work. Maybe sony can make a special case for the TC4 Guncon or move support but that's up for them to decide.

It wont - the USB driver and Guncon 3 was specific to PS3 and is not backwards compatible. TC1 was using the controller port for the Guncon 1.
In Japan TC1 was released on PS2 if your PS3 runs PS2 games and you have a Guncon 2 and if PS3 supports Guncon 2. But I have no idea if it does.
That's interesting. Were the graphics improved in any way or was it identical to the PS1 game? If the latter is true, what's the point, other than having Guncon 2 support?
I never knew about the PS2 version of TC1. The issue is still whether the emulator on the PS3 (I have the 80GB version) support Guncon games, sadly. Apparently it supports Guncon 2, but since I have a US PS3 it does not work with Japanese games. I guess I could always play it on my PS2...
yeah, for the collection, Time Crisis and the Point Blanks were just PS1 ports, not the arcade versions
Correct. That is what I was talking about. I've never owned it or played it, never looked into importing it.
