    Hi Guys,
Thought you'd enjoy my latest find:

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4Gjg_OQC_jkR01aZjNpa185VDA

This is a standalone demo of Timesplitters 2, As far as I can tell its different to the demo on the PAL Official PS Magazine....I think the level is incomplete (i.e. some doors locked etc).

    Enjoy

Just went through this build and and earlier build which was on the Playstation Magazine. From what I can tell the Playstation magazine version is an early build. Having some similar feelings to Timesplitters 1 and that build was produced in September of 2001, This version was produced in February of 2002 and has a lot more similarity to the final version of the games.

Minus the fact that the guns are still in there Beta stage and some items are still in there beta stage such as the Time Crystal which is RED?! and the body armor and ammo boxes are still in there Beta form.

Hey! The other demo that I have in my collection is the one that is in the Official Playstation Magazine 53. This version is by far the most earliest one I have and i can tell you. It has a lot of similarities to TS1 then to the actual retail version of TS2. Things such as:

. Many enemies using the cover scripts/animations they had in TS1

. There are a F*** ton of enemies on the only playable level "Oblask Dam"

. Many of the interiors in the buildings have been changed

    . No Terminal Link

And honestly I could go on and on and I'm currently editing a video comparing the three. The February build which you found, the September build i have managed to find and obviously the retail version :)

Okay I just played through the TS2 demo that you provided and there are a few things to point out. Not so many as this is a build that is coming to its final form almost but here is what I found out:

Most of the weapons are now usually what they look like in the retail version though three weapons have still to be completed which would be the mines, the flamethrower (Both which are currently still in there Beta form) and the sniper which one of the scopes is red.

    • The Auto Shotgun does not have a reloading sound yet.
    • The HUD is still in its Beta form as well as including the Text on the pause Menu and so on.
    • The Time Crystal is Now looking like its retail version but still in its Beta form as of looking yellow and a bit bigger then the retail version
    • When zoomed in with the sniper. The sniper has this weird auto targeting feature.
    • The Intercom still does not play when releasing the gas pressure.
    • Unlike the early 2001 build we now have a female voice then compared to the Male one.
I think there are a few more though I am not quite sure. Cheers for sharing this !
