    hope so too. just watching the news, and a lot of old houses broke down and some landslides as well :-(

    until now there're recorded 1 dead victim and 110 injured people

    Ishikawa is pretty far from just about anything. I'm sure there's some Jet's in the area. 6 isn't trivial. That would do some damage in Tokyo... but that's not saying much... there's a house in my neighborhood that probably won't withstand the next typhoon. Should post a picture of it.

    Quake? All I read about was some guy falling out of the door on the Naomi Shinkansen and it's way to Shin Osaka from Tokyo. This happened at around 1:30am on Sunday morning.

    Yeah, turn on any news channel, or go to Yahoo Japan news. Quite a few houses crumbled.
