 Not sure if these are anything to valuable but I got all 3 rubberbanded togather for $3.99 They are Marios Cement Factory (little bit beat up and no batt cover) Popeye (good shape) Snoopys Tennis (good shape) Anyone know if any of them are piticularly rare?
Are all the LCD elements functional, and do the piezo speakers still work? These aren't valuable from a general gamer's perspective, but they have some value to collectors of Nintendo items and collectors of dedicated game units of the era. My experience has been that people who have an interest generally own one or more of these items already. Mario's Cement Factory was particularly well-distributed, but I can't tell you how many functional units remain today. Some Googling around shows that many of the old LCD collector websites are gone now, which doesn't surprise me. Here's a cached price guide, which shows the cement factory game going for $185, presumably with the box and the instructions. I don't intend to endorse the site or its information, just passing along the link: http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cach...ment+Factory"+rarity&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=6&gl=us Oh yes, here's a relevant Digitpress thread too. http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66475
Game & Watches usually sell here for around $30 without box ond manual, so you certainly got a good deal there.
A very good deal! I bought 3 off a carboot last year for 50p (common mario ones) and sold those back on for £20 each on fleabay
Those are some of the most common game watches, but worth more than 4 bucks for sure. Do they have the battery covers? Popeye is the rarest of those 3. Mario's Cement Factory is the least.
G&W units tend to be worth good money, with rarer sealed units climbing into the hundreds of dollars. I'd keep them though, unless you already have nicer versions of the same games. I love playing G&W games.
