Let's hope this can turn out to be the canceled true sequel to the first game!

Well, this was one of few games on DreamTR's list that said "different from released" next to it, so it's likely to be SOMETHING. Can't say what for sure of course.

 

I'm also thinking about that "different from released" remark being something more than just the same released game in early state.

It's confirmed by Greg Johnson that both he and Mark Voorsanger actually were developing an overhead sequel, until they noticed they weren't getting a lot of advertising from SEGA that way, so they had no choice but to switch the sequel to an (awesome, by the way) platformer.

Maybe they didn't complete the thing, but hopefully they got into something more than design sheets.

Besides, just $30 left! I think this worths a try.

 

If its an all new game then great you got my intrest. how do i donate i will put up $10 its not much but still.

Hey everyone, guess what! DreamTR doesn't even have the cart anymore! Yep, that's right, all this time during which people were collecting tons of money to pay for this thing, he couldn't find time even ONCE to make sure he still had it. What am I saying though, it's insane to expect any effort on the part of the seller unless you actually have ALL the money upfront and ready to pay instantly, am I right?....even if you're given three months or so during which everyone's donating as much as they can from their paychecks which were hard earned? ...Right?

 

Well that sucks, maybe if you can't get your donations back hopefully there will be something even more appealing in the future to put money towards it getting released.

 

drx never gave the money away yet, even if he did there's no way DreamTR could keep it. Everyone gets to choose if they want the money back or donate it towards something else. I'm never donating for a DreamTR proto again personally though, I can clearly see now that the customer matters very little and it's all about just getting money, only then is it worth actually get the damn thing out. That's clearly how it works :/

Mistakes sometimes get made. He thought he had it, and he didn't. When you manage a collection as big as his, this stuff sometimes happens (I know something about it).

There's no reason to get this angry, IMO. He offered to refund the money as soon as he learned about the mistake. He didn't do it maliciously, you know.

Because these responses seem a bit one-sided, I'll add that I'm refunding the money to the donators.
