Catching the train to different places for the past few days, has cost me less than catching the train to work (for one day!) in Sydney...
food is cheap too, chain stores like Starbucks are heaps cheaper here (even taking exchange into account)

Not money related but most people here seem to keep to them selves and there is a huge sense of pride in peoples work (taxi’s and trucks are so clean same with the people driving them)

People in Sydney are always so fucking angry at everyone all the time, like when people are driving they blast their horn at anything.. the other day some guy was blasting his horn at the fucking traffic light! Everyone is in such a hurry to get home to their debt..

I was going to buy a house in Australia but I might spend that money learning Japanese and becoming employable in Japan hahaha

Sydney is just useless to even start a life in. Full of Chinese investors who rise the price of houses dramatically.
Not only that, but it's near impossible to find work in Sydney and also Melbourne.

Oh, also don't even expect a clean Taxi in Australia they're super rare... I'd rather drive myself everywhere and pay for parking than put my ass on a Taxi, Bus, or Train seat.

Tell me about. I also came back from Tokyo a month ago and had the almost exact same feeling.
First time it hit was at the airport after I landed. Tried to get a bottle of water from the vending machine and suddenly realised why the h@ll it's wy more expensive than the one in Tokyo. :p

however I'm kind of stuck with two houses and work here in Sydney don't think I can get away easily...

Go back and experience it on a Japanese' salary. Bring a hanky to cry in.

True. :) As they say someone else's cake looks always bigger :p

Even though I travel to Japan often - maybe too often - I wouldn't move back and live there :p

It's best experienced as a non-Japanese. As as westerner you at least have the ability to work for more than pennies. Although it seems now plenty of gaijin are in fact willing to take about half the pay (and 3x the abuse) for what they do to be in Japan.
