One week notice, will be in Tokyo on Tuesday 11th March until the 17th March. If anyone wants to meet up for a meal/drink/etc give me a shout. Will be staying in Shinagawa, but have a JR pass so can meet pretty much anywhere within an hour of Tokyo if need be.

As I said before, will have the old man on tow and won't be doing the starry eyed otaku thing, so no "ZOMG haggle in Super Potato and get me Game X cheaper!!!!!"

Got a fairly light workload that week, so I'll be up for it. Hopefully we can get Mr. G. Punch out as well; and Warakia if his gf lets him off his leash! ;)

Thats fine mate, Phinn if you want to pm me your phone number (and real name lol) I will give you a ring when I land and am settled so we can arrange things.

The old man (well technically not he's just my mothers on-off boyfriend of the last 15 years) is pretty cool and can drink most people under the table if you would rather just go to a bar and have a few drinks in the night.

My entire gaming shopping list is:

    PS3 for me
Dual Shock 3 x5(...) for mates
    Blu-Ray Gravure discs
    UMD Gravure discs

Thats it, no need to haggle, no need for translators, just need to dump all the packaging and hope I get through customs with it all in my suitcase/hand luggage.

Yeah I might be able to make it. This is the first time I have checked Assembler all week, so maybe Phinn you can mail my phone, as that ups the odds of actually making it to me!

I have a full on goatee-thing going on myself!

Actually I am shaving on Sunday, won't see you lot until the Wednesday so I will be a little Grizzly Adams by then. By the time I get home I will have a full on 70's porno beard, it grows that fast.

A big thanks to GaijinPunch and Phinn for showing me a good time, was an awesome night, and an awesome holiday!

I will have to tell you the stories about the transsexual bars I stumbled upon in Kabukicho one day!

Was it called "Hige Girl"? There was a spot back there about a block from the Koma Theater called Cafe Ole. It was gaijin run, and pretty much the only place I liked to hang out in Shinjuku that didn't require chemical help. Right next door was said establishment. "Hige" means "beard or mustache", btw. (Shudders). The owner of Cafe Ole died though, so I assume it shut down.
