I was reading all about this title ever since its PSX supposed debut. I very much enjoyed Blood Omen, Eternal Darkness and even MGS:Twin Snakes on the GC. So the logical next step was to give Too Human a go - and what better way to give it a shot than downloading the demo on my 360? Production values apart, the game's combat is repetative - although with a hint of Phantasy Star Online and I m not sure how well the whole Nordic mythology binds with the technological world that's presented. From a game development stand-point, I think this is an example of how mediocre a game can come out if you lose your focus and try to combine different types into a single shell. The RPG elements don't appeal to me since they re too deep for my liking, yet the real-time combat/shooting parts will not probably appeal to the hardcore RPG fan who's got the patience to dig into the menus all day long. Maybe it's just me though that feels disappointed, so I d like to know what others think
I liked the demo alright. It was actually a bit better than I thought it was going to be (keep in mind I was expecting it to suck horribly).
