hi members , i took out my Top 3000 Programmer to burn a Neo Geo BIOS today and it won't power on either from USB or Power Adapter. The last time i used it i had it connected to USB from my computer and a Windows message popped up saying it was drawing too much power. So i used the Power Adapter and it worked ok. So yeah now it won't power on at all , when i use the Power Adapter and turn the Programmer on the LED on the Adapter blinks dimly when the Programmer is switched off the Adapter LED returns fully on. update............ i have removed all Caps and one of the 1000uf 10V's is dead according to my Fluke DMM , so i am going to recap the whole Programmer. Caps have been ordered , should have them in a week.
update 2............ got the Rubycon and Nichicon Caps today and fitted them. I turned on the Top 3000 Programmer and we have power ! , i burned a unibios and verified it multiple times with success. so all is good , stoked
