Can someone give me a synopsis? The website refuses to acknowledge that I actually do have Flash installed...
I had the same trouble, but if you go to www.acclaim.com first and install their Active-x control, this link should work fine.... ;-)
Hmm, interesting - thanks! I think it is pretty cool what they've done with the Acclaim name. Free gaming - nice!
Dave Perry of 3DO / Earthworm Jim fame as far as I am aware Will be interviewing him in the near future, but not in person unless I can get to Los Angeles :-(
Enjoy Alan, you should have fun, Dave's a great laugh, don't take any notice of Yakumo's rude description of him being a "twat" or "stuck up", only shallow people who don't know him would say such words.
So, anyone heard back from them, yet? They said they'd e-mail within 2 weeks, and it has been about that now. Oldengineer - are you thinking of the same person? Yakumo means Dave "GamesAnimal" Perry, the British magazine writer and part of the Gamesmaster team, who always wore a bandana. Dave Perry of Earthworm Jim fame Dave Perry of Gamesmaster fame
>>> Looks like a pubescent Chesney Hawkes of "I am the one and only..." (thank god) infamy (I refuse to call it fame). Bandanas, HUGE splayed shirt collar and no-hair-open-chest-on-skinny-white-rocker-blonde guy in the UK....:noooo: :noooo: :noooo: I don't care what he did al la Gamesmaster, that is an afront to all that is sensible and good in the world of rock n' roll! The lass sitting next to him is quite nice though, so he has every reason to smile. <If for any reason he reads this, I would just like to point out that once upon a time I too made a similar 'style' mistake in wearing Zebra skin trousers, which were like drainpipes! I topped this amazing look with a Dio t-shirt, a leather jacket and a pair of desert boots! I must have looked a considerable twat, even back in the 80's........
Hot of the press Afternoon, Dave just let me know that this is up and running - it's a racing game! You should register so that you get to see what's happening and how things unfold. The top secret site is now live. (Acclaim has not told anyone yet.) I put it on my blog also. We are at nearly 24,000 developers signed up! Biggest development team in history by miles! http://topsecret.acclaim.com They just sign up, then click COMMUNITY and start designing! dp
