I interviewed someone recently, someone who has never been interviewed before, and the result was: * An incredible MEGATON interview, full of candid revelations, with some very surprising things said about Konami. * Their localisation files for several manuals and 5 games, featuring the Japanese script, every word of English script, footnotes, translator notes and requests, mistakes in the original Japanese, and other supplementary tidbits. http://blog.hardcoregaming101.net/2012/01/top-secret-konami-files-to-download.html I'm releasing these one at a time on Hardcore Gaming 101, first the manuals and Hybrid Heaven script. The next two games' files will go up with the site update, and the final two will go up alongside the megaton interview. They're all text heavy games, and the last two in particular feature some pretty solid content. The files in question, at the time, did not have any kind of NDA attached to them, due to various reasons, and the interviewee has given me permission to release them, for reasons which will be explained in the interview. There's already some hype with this on NeoGAF, so just to correct some things, it's nothing to do with Policenauts, the games were released, and it's sadly nothing to do with Suikoden (though Sui 1 and 2 are two of my favourite RPGs on the PS1, let it be said). Also, as DiscoAlucard on HG101 has pointed out: Keep an eye out for the interview, it's 10'000 words of raw honesty like you've never read before.
I'm a big fan of Hardcore Gaming 101 but sometimes I find a few mistakes with details in some special features, mostly about Saturn and Super Famicom. Do you guys at Hardcore Gaming 101 accept corrections? If you do I could pop you a mail letting you guys know next time I come across one. Yakumo
We do indeed accept corrections. We even have a dedicated forum where people can request updates, pointing out mistakes: http://hg101.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=update By all means please highlight where an error has been made.
EvilPachirisu said So Jeremy Blaustein is letting you have some of his private stash? Sweet. You shouldn't release the rest of it here though, you should go to the Assembler Games forums (http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/) and get them to a community dump fundraiser for it. These people pay STUPID amounts of money to get prototypes released, Sketcz you are sitting on a small fortune. EvilPachirisu said...
I think you are missing the point of community fundraiser It is not for people to make money, it is to repay investment made by the user releasing something. So an interview and material gotten for free does not warrant for a fundraiser imo.
