Jesus Christ! There's two tornados that just touched down ten miles north of my house!

I live in Camarillo (about 40 miles north of Los Angeles, south of Ventura in CA.) This is totally freakish. It never rains out here, we never get this kind of wacky devestation weather. Except today.

If I don't post again, that means I'm dead. Or else my house got ripped up and thrown like in the wizard of OZ. This is fucking crazy.

...then Segata Sanshiro will undoubtedly come to your aid. And strangle a few people in the process, of course :)

Tornados are all too common where I live. :smt009 However, I had no idea tornados could form in CA. Crazy weather for sure.

Well, everything is ok, I am still alive.

The Tornado touched down ten miles north of my house, then moved in a NE direction. Luckily there are no reports of deaths or damage.

I posted this morning at 6:45 a.m., as I was getting ready to go to work, and it's raining like a sumbitch and the trees are all flapping all over the place, so I casually turn on the TV while I eat my cereal to get the scary ass Emergency Broadcast System signal with tornado warning, on like EVERY CHANNEL. That scared the shit out of me. I eneded up being late to work. I ain't driving on the 101 in fucking tornado weather.

(For those of you who don't know, the 101 freeway is that freeway in the Matrix Reloaded where the operator guy says "Sir, you always told me that freeway was a death trap.." Listen closely, he is referring to the 101 Hollywood Freeway. He was right. It's bad enough without ten feet of rain and 40mph winds.)

Funny, the news said the Tornado warning was over at 7:39 A.M., and almost to the minute, at 7:40, the rain stopped, the wind died, and it was totally calm outside. I will never bag on the National Weather Service ever again. They have this shit in the bag.

    Anyway, That was wacky.

101 was in Reloaded? I thought that was built on the Alameda, California (My old hometown ;) navy base, I know that part of the highway set was there. Also the Webster/Posey tube in Alameda was the tunnel in Reloaded, watched them film some stuff :D

I think the weather's broken or something. We've been getting gale-force winds (70mph+) and rain of DOOM on and off since Friday. Our retarded flat roof over the garage and kitchen was leaking YET AGAIN (it happens EVERY time it rains in a certain direction, and we've already got it fixed twice!). And it's supposed to get bad later on today! Yay! I mean NO.

I can hear the wind blowing through the ventillation system in the college right now...

Yeah, but there actually was a tornado this time, two of them. Well, one was a waterspout becasue it never touched land. But the other came down like ten miles north of where I live.

Sorry, you have to understand that people in Southern California are pussies when it comes to the weather (myself included.) All it has to do is sprinkle and the traffic jams up, people get in car accidents, etc. Becasue everyone around here drives the Los Angeles speed limit, which is as fast as fucking possible.

You know, I don't really know where it's supposed to be set in the movie. The operator guy (Tank's brother, the guy with the dreadlocks) says "101 Freeway" and I always assumed that was a refrence to the Hollywood/Ventura 101, but I suppose there could be other 101 Freeways in the country.

The last big one that came through here two years ago missed my folks house by less than two miles and me by around four. Thank God it missed us, because it tore the shit out of what it did hit. Hope that the weather chills out for you soon.
