(SOLVED) Total Newbie Needs Help; ED64v2 Won't Boot

(FIRST OFF: Apologies if this ain't the right place to post this, or if I've otherwise screwed up)

Hello all, I'm having problems with my Everdrive64 v2 that I received about a month ago. I ordered it without a plastic shell, USB, or on-board CIC chip (my brother soldered on a 6105 CIC chip via a bridge, but he said that the bridge should provide no issues). Unfortunately, upon putting the ED64 in my console, nothing's ever happened (no boot screen or anything). Here are photos of my cartridge:

I'm a freakin' idiot, so there's something I'm probably missing that's painfully obvious (and for that I apologize), but is there any help for my situation?

    1) you must close jumper on back side, near to MAX II chip. othervise cart will not boot with 6105
    2) 6105 is a bad idea on this moment, cuz some games will stop work. you should use 6102 for best compatibility

I switched to a 6102, and it works like a charm. Thank you so much!
