Has anyone here used the Tototek Mega Cart? I can't believe I didn't know about it. I'd want it mainly to play other region Sega/Mega CDs since it has supposed 100% compatibility. I did come across the Sega-16 review and it seemed pretty favorable: http://www.sega-16.com/feature_page.php?id=238&title=Sega Gear: Tototek Mega Cart I also can't find it on their website anymore, so I'm assuming it is no longer in production, but I found a site called Genny4Ever that carries them. I've never heard of them though. http://www.genny4ever.net/
I have it and it works great. Pretty easy Bios-Region-Change by holding down A,B or C Button while Power-On. Also it comes with a fully working Flash-Rom. Shipping to Europe was no Problem but of course it needs some Time.
Cool thanks. I think I'll try to track one down then. If I may ask, where did you get yours? Am I just missing it on their website?
Anything they make is great. They're running low on items as they seem to have no source for cart slots anymore.
http://products.genny4ever.net/megacart_v1x.html The site is Fonzie's, the creator of the cart. So it is the official website. And I believe Tototek is involved in producing it. It's supposed to be very nice, however using it as a flash cart to play ROMs is an alternate use and has some limitations. No save support and 3Mbytes of space for ROMs. But for playing import CDs it is most likely the best product for that.
