Silly question I know but, I believe I have one around here somewhere but iirc the disk drive is not in the best of shape and it freezes at the boot logo. Would this work for you? I also have an old Elite which I repaired the disk drive by moving the mobo to another drive of the same model but it has RRoD before and was "fixed" via the ol overheat trick thanks to my younger brothers :/

 

I'd be willing to trade, I've got a falcon that is in pretty good condition and I've had no drive problems or overheating. The only thing that is broken is the hdmi port which had stopped working a couple years back.

 

Mods, sorry for not posting pic to begin with. I wasn't sure if pics were required for a hypothetical trade. Please let me know if I need to take more.

Fate6, I've had my fair share of dealing with Xbox 360 problems and this one is going to be R-JTAG'd and given to someone as a gift so I'd rather keep it in as working condition as possible. Thanks for the offer though.

Zealon, that sounds like a good offer. Any idea what is wrong with the HDMI port?

 

As far as I can tell it must have gotten damaged, maybe when other people were using it. I can take some photos if you want, I'm away from home atm.

Not a problem, Just figure I would toss it out there since no one was posting real offers.

 

The HDMI port is completely sufrace mounted, more than likely a pin or two has just come loose off the mobo..
you will have to desolder the av jack to get to it..
