I just got back and thought it was pretty sweet. The last like half hour (I think?) seemed to drag on forever though. Of course though I wasn't in too good of a mood for the ending since the theatre was a fucking oven. The fight early on where Optimus gets fucked up though was awesome. Now I have to go to bed though since I got work in 6 hours lol. I hate/love midnight releases.
Surely we just want to imagine boning Megan Fox? Does anyone actually go to see the movie? I mean, it's just Hollywood bullshit...
I enjoyed it, as a Transformers fan I feel like I did after the first movie, a bit let down. Oh and all the gutter humor does get on your nerves after awhile. Overall though it's what you would expect and a little bit more. I will own it when it comes out on Blu-ray and be happy about the money spent.
The problem again is that Michael Bay is over patriotic (in all his movies), over explosions / CGI, over everything... I wonder how he managed to make a 3 hour movie without a slightly decent script. So don't expect much. I'll probably end up watching, with friends or girlfriend , but i prefer the old cartoon anyday.
Megan Fox is weird. Sometimes she can look really good, then there's other times where she looks like a tranny or something. I'm gonna see the movie Friday probably. I heard they set a Guinness world record for "Largest Explosion Involving an Actor" or something like that.
I saw it last week and thought it was sweet! Way better than the first, the fights are much better and so is the script, and no megan fox can't act worth s**t, but that's no what she's there for.
Judging by the trailer it looks like a giant advert for the US army to me - like 90% of Bay's movies. Haven't seen it yet, but people say it has more irony and less patriotic hero-phrases in it than the first one, so I may give it a shot someday.
Just saw this today, I liked it for the most part but some of the humor like Devastator's balls and the RC truck robot humping Megan Fox's leg was just stupid The two dumb looking 'Bots were nowhere near as annoying as I expected and some of their lines were actually quite funny. Just like the first movie though, a lot of the Transformers were just in the background (one even seemed to appear out of nowhere as a deus ex machina near the end!) and didn't do much, but at least the major characters like Megatron and Starscream got more speaking lines this time and Optimus was more of an ass kicker like he's supposed to be. The movie's also simply too long. It seems like a lot of movies have this problem these days: the first Transformers, Dark Knight and Batman Begins at least seemed to suffer from the same problem (although to be fair, DK had way better pacing than the other two).
True that about Dark Knight. The first time I saw there was a point and was like, "Alright, the movie's over." But then there was still 30 mins left! The second time I saw it, it flowed a lot better.
