Hello, I am on holiday right now (Gran Canaria) and I cant find all characters on this Spanish keyboard (I am used to a US keyboard), so this message probably contains a lot of errros, please forgive me. I bought a very cheap, weird looking Chinese Optimus Prime toy here (probably a bootleg) for a few euros, where I want to know more of. I dont think its rare (as a lot of shops carried them), I just would like to know more of it. Do any of you know any reliable Transformers community sites on the internet? I believe most popular toylines of the 80s have them (he-man.org for example). When I am at home I will scan pictures and photos. Best regards, ArcadeAction
i got one of those in my local poundshop, as well as a starscream ripoff, pretty good quality considering how cheap they were

Six reasons why the Transformers Movie sucks I was a big fan of the show, the toys, and the comics, but this latest atrocity is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Dammit Micheal Bay, why you gotta ruin it for me... Thank God he's not doing the sequel.

Excellent analysis Hawanja. You pretty much nailed it. The movie was better than I expected but considering how low my expectations were in the first place that's not saying much. Speaking of Transformers. I picked up that Wal-Mart exclusive Masterpiece Starscream. It has to be the first toy I've bought in fourteen years for all the memories it brought back it was some of the best money I've spent in a long time. This thing is just plain cool.
The picture that Codeman posted is the Robotmasters G1 Convoy toy. It's a Japan-only release, as the Robotmasters line didn't see any sort of official distribution in the EU or the US. If the colors are accurate, then the blue paint on the wheels is what indicates this is a bootleg, as the real thing has rolling wheels that are black on all surfaces.
Apparently the guy who did Starscream's voice is dead - he did Cobra Commander's voice too, so looks like we won't be hearing it in the new G.I. Joe movie either (that's Action Force to you U.K. people.) But, they could have hired a sound-alike. You know, for the fans. Instead they put in robot pee-pee jokes. Damn that movie sucks.
What is really annoying is on the movie special features they show a test run of Megatron using the original voice actor. Bay didn't care for his voice though so they used Agent Smith instead. Too bad since the original sounded better in the first place.
