taken from the japanese wikipedia: i tried to understand something with babelfish, but the only thing i could get it that it might be interesting to understand it thanks to anyone that might help. karsten
The text itself is pretty confusing if you have no idea what the topic is. Well, apparently this is about a collection of humorous short stories plus two discs - one being a Final Fantasy Tactics demo discs with some content different from the final product, and the other one a disc with a savefile for Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon that lets you start the game with maxed out stats. Edit: some mistakes. see my next post.
it has something to do with Crazy Fuze, the original playstation and the CD-ROM format but other than that my japanese is not very fluent.
thanks for the effort.. it should talk about some kind of hidden featires or secret in different games/demos... i hope someone can clear it up
Now I got it. But its not about any secret features. The part you copied is about Saga Frontier related material in other games/game bundles: - Final Fantasy Tactics (first print): comes with a demo of Saga Frontier which has a few minor differences to the finished version, e.g. T260G being equipped with the electromagnetic hammer (?), these differences are explained in detail in a text file on the retail version of Saga Frontier - Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon: comes with an extra disc that contains among others the aforementioned savedata for Saga Frontier That's all.
Novel edition A novel "the man who failed to be the 8th main character CRAZY FUSE" (Bennie Matsuyama) is recorded in the above "back dissolution true note". An element of a laugh has been added to 7 scenarios of this chapter, adding and gathering an arrangement. A different short story is also recorded in this "back dissolution true note" as a plan. [Edit] the relation between the other games Final Fantasy tactics Motosaku's trial version is recorded in a disk of bundling (only the version before an inexpensive edition). An early stage of the Kuhn volume and the T260G volume, a war with a DAEMON family in a scrap is filmed. Further, there is a difference with the product edition for a short while for being equipped with an electromagnetic hammer with which T260G isn't equipped by a product edition now. A message of Kozu director who blamed to publish analytical data of this trial version is included in a disk of a product edition as a text file. Strange dungeon in CHOKOBO Motosaku's save data is recorded in "strange bundled data disk". Each main character and the joined character are the ability near most Tsuyoshi from the beginning by this save data. But, such as a copy of data of the character is confused, and progress of a game becomes impossible by a case, there are several defects. Data like the above was also recorded in a book with a CD-ROM for issued PS "square Memory card Data collection" (ISBN 4-925075-77-2 and November in 2000) from DigiCube later. My Japanese is brilliant
Again, thanks! "Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon: comes with an extra disc that contains among others the aforementioned savedata for Saga Frontier" you mean it contains a special savegame for saga frontier? ?_? oh my it makes little sense in general
I ran it through an online translator, so it's a bit 'unpolished'. This one's really good for Japanese > English: http://www.ocn.ne.jp/translation/ Click on the second option from the left (above the text box). Paste the Japanese text in, and click the uppermost button in the middle (the one below it clears the boxes).
Yep. One that let's you start the game with almost maxed out HP/MP etc. According to the text, the same savefile is also on the disc that comes with the book "Square Memory Card Data Collection" (see ISBN in Japanese text).
mmmh interesting! how is it supposed to be transferred to the MC? anyone have that game and can check?
Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon (Japan) for PlayStation comes with the game disc [SLPS-01234] and a bonus disc that is titled "Fushigi na Data Disc" [SLPS-01235] *PIC*. From memory, I believe it comes with a few save files and Square-related material like videos, pictures and/or text info (Similar to the "Square Preview" bonus discs that came with other Square games like Final Fantasy Tactics *PIC*). Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon 2 [SLPS-01771] also comes with a similar disc "Fushigi na Data Disc 2" [SLPS-01772] *PIC*. It's pretty simple, just make sure you have enough blocks on your memory card, select the save file you want, confirm and the system will transfer the save file from disc to your memory card. Ah, I guess that would be SLPM-80556 then (I don't have the book). Or the physical disc for that matter. The disc basically contains save files for pretty much every PS1-era Square game.
i loved it. finished with all chars and got to the 2nd div too i loved the RS remake on ps2 and RS3 too!
