Transparent Blue/Green Game Doctor SF7 32M

I'd like to evaluate the perception of value regarding this piece of hardware. It's a blue/green Game Doctor SF7 with 32M of ram. It's in excellent shape and it works perfectly fine, although it does have some quirks. I recently bought it but I had no criteria to really asses its value, so I'm wondering whether or not I overpaid for it. How much do you think it's worth? Thank you in advance.

 

I don't know about the transparent case adding to the value, but Tototek has been selling them for years for $50-60...

 

Yeah, I checked it out but Tototek itself seems to be mostly out of stock. I wouldn't really get it without any reference, so I actually happened to find out that a site literally called Gamedoctor had some available. The thing that caught my attention was a green GameDoctor SF6 which is going for 80 dollars (only 1 in stock). Nonetheless, it doesn't mean much, so I'm still uncertain. It's actually quite hard to estimate any value for those things because they aren't that common but they've also become extremely outdated due to flashcarts such as the SD2SNES or the Everdrive. They are also awfully obscure accessories so they only appeal to a very restricted niche. Regardless, it's a novelty but it does retain some usefulness.

 

To be honest, BUNG copiers are some of the most common ones available. Specifically, because they were one of the most popular brands at the time. Casual gamers will just buy a Flash Cart and call it a day. So really your market is very niche and probably restricted to just Copier collectors. Even if you find someone, you'll probably only get around $40~$50 bucks for it anyway since it's not a very rare unit.

You'll want to look at stuff made by China Coach (ie. the Smart Bros) or something before you start getting into more uncommon territory. Just to give you an idea, back in the day I got two shrink-wrapped GD7 units (32 mbit / mint) from China for like $40 each. And that was before flash cards became common place. So really it's an item you hold to appreciate. It's not much of an investment.
