I don't think it looks that bad, but it is noticeable. Already had to take it apart as there was a jam in the Cart mechanism. (don't buy a security bit screw driver without a handle)

So what do you all think? I'm leaning towards it, with reservations. I don't think it'll get worse as no UV light gets in my room at all.

If you treat it with hydrogen peroxide it will yellow again with time. Also it takes time and is messy.

So for my Super Famicom I bought like two or three different ones and swapped all the parts so I got one that is completely not yellowed and sold the yellowed rest again. There seem to be different fire retardants that were used even on the same console, some cause yellowing some don't. If you throw in a Supercic in the ones you sell you can even make a small profit and you can be sure that it won't yellow again.

    Supercic?

As far as make sure it won't yellow again if I do treat it (I have a month) isn't there a UV spray that will prevent yellowing?

    Check this out.

I have done the retrobrite on a pal snes that was very yellowed, all I used was 3% and submerged it and it did come out great but did yellow again years later but not that bad but I say got for it,yours should turn out great as it's not to bad.

Also as for it going yellow again it pretty much has to do with oxygen.

That is what I used on my Dreamcast. I coated with salon 40 then wrapped the parts with saran wrap. Left it in sunlight for 3 hours then turned it 180 degrees to get an even coating for another 3 hours.

The Salon 40 as some is a cream can leave a blooming effect on the plastic, that's why I just used straight up 3% as it's safe, only difference is it will take longer to work.
