    Morning...

    thought it would be a nice idea to share some of the photos I took this summer.
    Maybe someone's interested :)

    858 pictures from Tokyo, Kyoto and a little bit of Osaka/Shinkansen-ride.

    Enjoy. =)

    Some really good photos, only had a chance to see the Tokyo ones really as I am off out soon but liked what I saw. For some unknown reason I never really took any photos of Akiba other than a few shots of the main drag. It's nice to see some of the familiar arcades and shots of the inside of Super Potato/Mandarake regardless of the phtography ban are always nice to see.

    By the way, inside the Starbucks building at Shibuya is Tsutaya. Good for renting (to rip) obscure DVDs you'll never find outside Japan but otherwise mostly expensive I found.

    The photography ban is easy to avoid, just keep taking photos very fast untill they tell you to stop :)
    At Super Potato I took pictures right in front of the cashier and he didn't say a word.
    At Retro Friends the employee even took a photo of me with my purchases in front of their SFC-wall. Must have been concerned with the fact I just spent ~16000yen there and had a little talk ^^

    Man, I love the pictures. Thanks for taking and sharing! Dang, now that's what I call retirement... sitting in front of a pachinko machine with my cigs and a towel around my neck. :nod:
