Just got back from Toys R Us and although I didn't find anything I was interested in buying, there were a few games on sale that might interest someone here. I deal more on the portable side, so if you're looking for that crap you'll have to see for your self. A few cheap PSP games Kingdom of Heaven $10.48 Medievil Resurrection $13.98 Tiger Woods PGA tour $13.98 Not much DS Shogun Empire $10.48 DigDug Digging Strike $10.48 Also got this crappy pic of a Nintendo DS Download Station. http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/1456/dsc00001qs1.jpg The case was unlocked and if I wasn't already slated to appear in court tomorrow I would have tried to make a break for it. All in all a lackluster trip but I did follow it up by beating HOTD with a dollar. Damned little kids kept swarming me though. Oh how I wish that light gun worked on hellspawned children as well as it does zombies.
What's really amusing is the simple fact that inside that locked box is nothing more than a standard DS with a cart inside. That's right, the "download station" is nothing more than software that can run on any DS unit. No special hardware required. -hl718
there was one on ebay some month ago. but if you're only intrested in the rom it was released some month ago too.
Yeah I was wondering why there were no discernable interface ports. I guess it's a good thing I didn't lift it, although it would still be nice to have.
The lockbox is basically just there to make sure no one lifts the DS (or more importantly to make sure no employees decide to borrow it on a lunch break and leave customers wondering why the download station doesn't work). -hl718
