I put "weird" in there because I often get comments I collect weird things. I recently only took these 3 pictures because another member asked me to show them. And I see I have no thread here so I will make one. One of my more recent things I've been going for are hockey games, including international versions. These are the only ones I have on display, aside from my PS2 games but I don't have a picture of those. My collection is tracked here: http://vgcollect.com/about/Tripredacus
I know that feel, for I too love hockey games. I don't have them on display (and I organize my games by console anyway), but I certainly have a lot of them.
If you collect stuff you like and enjoy, there's nothing weird in that. Also, Hockey games always reminds me of one of my favourite movies.
I have similiar collection to you, but instead of hockey games, I have Star Wars games. I will show my collection eventually.
No but I don't have a N64 currently. I looked up pics and it looks to be better (visually) than either of the Saturn games I have.
You should try it out if you get a chance. It's not meant to be realistic - it's more of a stylized, arcade type of game. Still, it's pretty fun, and the graphics aren't too bad - and unlike most N64 games, you should be able to get it for really cheap. It's probably not worth it to get an N64 just for that game, but there are lots of other good reasons to own an N64. There's a PS1 port of the sequel ('98), but I would recommend getting the N64 version instead.
Well, it would be one I used to have but no longer. Mutant League Hockey! Otherwise, I have no real "holy grail" as it were. As for this thread. I should re-take pictures. All the Sega games have been removed from that shelf and put onto a Sega-focused shelf in the other room. I will re-take once I get more puck holders. I picked up 6 more pucks the other day and want them to be set up first.
Kudos to you sir, glad to see that it don't matter what you collect, as long as you like collecting then it's all good ;-)
Bought six puck cases today, and put the new games up after I inventoried them. I may yet have an additional couple, not shown, after I found a disc variation with the NHL 2000 PC game... which is why I am holding back 2 currently: NHL 2000 and NHL 98. Also I wrongly have 1 Sega PS2 game on there that will be moved. Lighting conditions were not favorable in the room with the Sega shelves. I will wait until another time to take a pic of those.
As promised, Sega collection. Only items in the photos are accounted for in my collection. I have a couple of things I have yet to add, so they aren't pictured. I had recently gone and inventoried everything according to if I had the cart, box, manual, etc and even if the box had a hangtab or was sealed. I have only 1 sealed game (Mario Andretti) as when I went through everything, I found "sealed" games that had cut hangtabs. Big shelf pics. SMS games didn't come out very well. I've been taking over the new house, and not everything is taken care of. This is why there is a bunch of VHS tapes there. Mini shelf (bottom shelf of PS2/3 games hidden behind VHS. Didn't feel like moving them (aka nothing special) Loose carts storage 1. White cart is After Burner for Famicom. Loose carts storage 2. The gap is there because I recently got a box and manual for Eternal Champions and didn't fill the gap. Loose carts storage 3. This was a media case I bought and couldn't quite figure out what was supposed to go in there. Nothing really fit except for 2600 carts but sideways. Since you couldn't see the labels, it seemed like maybe that wasn't the intended purpose. However, EA's big carts fit in there perfectly, so that's where I keep them. Well that's it for now!
