Hello everyone, I'm definately new to your forum. I came across your page looking for information on the SHARP 19SC111 television with built-in NES. I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can find one, and how much I should expect to pay. The main site said about $350-400 after shipping from ebay, but I'd rather try and find one from a private collector than go through the grand ol' auction site. Also wondering if anyone knows where to find the black NES controllers that came with the tv. Those are pretty sweet looking, and I've only ever seen 1 picture of them on http://videogamecollectors.com/gallery/Captain-Nintendo-s-house-of-N/Picture_023 on some guy's game room pic. Thanks for any help you can give!
It's hard to get them. I have seen them on ebay, and won one only to have the guy figure out he was losing on shipping and say it was "destroyed". It was $99 with $99 shipping, so $200 wasn't too bad in my mind. The problem with finding one here is they most collectors would never part with theirs..
This is true, especially if they have one that works. I've heard that once the nes wears out, the whole unit is pretty much shot. But it'd still be a good addition and something worth trying to repair. (and no, I don't have one, sorry)
