hello everybody, i've got a v1.0 xbox that wont display video, but it boots games and the dashboard perfectly fine. i can hear audio and still connect via ftp. originally i was running on the latest version of unleashx with a softmod done using the old hotswap method, was running perfect. earlier tonight i decided to use evox to flash the x2.5035.v16plus 1mb verion bios. everything seemed fine until i rebooted, thats when i noticed the lack of video. does anybody have any suggestions of how i might be able to fix this? edit: i tried doing the "blind" video mode switching feature from the hexen disc, when i switch into pal mode itll display video (black and white and flickery) but when i switch to ntsc it wont display anything. im following the "how to use this disc" file from the hexen disc itself
If you have flashed the BIOS with v16 in the filename isn't that meant for 1.6 consoles? If so probably why you have no video.
If its still running without video you should be able to reflash easily. I use the eurisia flash disc, that uses two discs and doesn't need video really
yea, you flashed a bios that is only for the 1.6 version xbox. you need to reflash the xbox with the correct bios.
