Turbo Express UK Mains Adaptor

I live in the UK and need a mains adaptor for my NEC Turbo Express handheld console.

The Turbo Express requires a 7v adaptor. Is there any UK mains adaptor that will work - Game Gear, Gameboy etc.

Or will I have to get a step-down converter?

 

Cant you just get something along these lines?

I just use a generic power supply that outputs 7.5V DC. Works just fine.

Got a PSU from B&Q (UK DIY store) for £11 that outputs at 7V as required by the Turbo Express. Works fine.
