Turing finally receives a royal pardon

I thought that I would post this for anyone that has not heard the news.
As the title says, Alan Turing has finally received a royal pardon.

Does him no good now. seems the British hierarchy are either growing a conscience or just babbling out meaningless "oh erm yes we're frightfully sorry for all that being evil business for the last few hundred years, rather terrible of us eh what.." nonsense.

 

Still, it's better late than never

 

another 50 years and MI5 might admit they poisoned him too.

 

As I read some where else,

49.000 were being punished for being gay... that is FUCKED up !

 

Pathetic, the man helps save their skins, and they treated him in that manner. While the royal family had to kick a King out of the country for being a Nazi lover.

THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED, JUST A PARDON, PLEASE...This is awful, if I was his family, well, lets just say I'd have some choice words...

Absolutely terrible!!! Saved their butts in WWII and lays the foundation for modern computing and they imprison and kill him! (Its obvious it wasn't suicide)

The pardon is quite honestly an insult, they should have issued an apology!!! Even then, I wouldn't accept their apology either!!!!! Just awful!!!!!!!

Plus the other 49,000 they "punished"!!!!! Don't they deserve these pardons as well!!!!!

 

He's been dead for 49 years this is just a P.R stunt to get good with gay people. I don't know why ,but this just makes them look even worse.
