Netgear with custom firmware is just as good as any other.

    Anyways, this is my router:

I've been using my Linksys WRT160Nv3 with DD-WRT for a couple of years and it's great. I was able to improve the signal and use several features not included in the original firmware (which by the way sucked! :p).
The only issue I have (which I never bothered investigating) is that whenever there's a power outage, once power comes back, the lights in the router blink all at the same time every second, and I have to unplug it and plug it back in.
If your router supports it, I highly recommend using DD-WRT (or maybe other custom firmwares); just make sure you read and follow carefully all instructions to avoid bricks.

Hahahaha! Your tiny blue heatsink is no match for a man sized heatsink!
I need more modems and routers to add fans and heatsinks to! :wink-new:

Completely unrelated question: I have been considering painting my walls a blue colour, how do you find living with blue walls and white skirtings?
I suppose a more important question is - what colour are your doors with that scheme?

yeah it's all i had left unless i stuck a full cpu one on but they were too big would have made it fall over. top heavy ya know :cool-new:

lol the paintjob is awful but I'm no good at painting, needs another coat but im lazy n had to move in pretty fast, now i cba moving anything to paint again.

Living with it, it's not bad as i get plenty of light through the window, i kinda like it. although the majority of wall is obscured by posters, pictures furniture and a CRT TV or two.
the doors are a similar colour to the floor beachy wood but little darker than the floor, in the last place i had yellow with white doors lol.
